Papers of The Tribunal, 1919-1975.

Twelve volumes of letters, written by five members of Dartmouth College classes of 1919 and 1920, document how these men and their families, collectively known as The Tribunal, maintained communication between 1919 and 1975 through a system of round-robin letters. The volumes contain correspondence, newspaper clippings, and photographs.

The celebration of the 150th anniversary of the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the Dartmouth College Case was held on April 9, 1969, in the Court of Claims, Washington, D.C.; the celebration also commemorated the career of Daniel Webster, the advocate who defended the case before the Supreme Court.
